at Inner Waves Yoga

Gentle Hatha Yoga

Practiced in a natural setting, with the peace and tranquility of lapping waves and cliffside view of Lake Ontario, Inner waves offers guided HathYoga classes with gentle, mindful movement. 

 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga focuses on holding poses from one or two minutes up to five to ten minutes and even longer. Holding poses encourages the muscles to relax, allowing for increased circulation to the joints, ligaments, and fascia. Yin yoga is a meditative practice that allows one to turn within - connecting to inner awareness.

Yoga for Mobility

This practice is specialized and encourages the use of mobility aids to help incorporate movement into your daily routine. With a focus on alleviating ailments such as stiff joints and chronic pain this class is best suited to those who are 50+ or those with mobility concerns.

Stretch and Reset

This short morning practice consists of gentle seated stretches and guided meditation. Asanas will focus on shoulders, neck, and hips. Pranayama and meditation will help restore you and prepare. you for your day. This practice is suitable for all levels, all bodies, and all abilities. Stretches and meditation can be done seated on the floor, a cushion, or a chair.
